Our method of adjustment is not based on typical chiropractic philosophy, which is centered around the “bone out of place” or “subluxation” principle. Instead, our adjusting is based on the neurological principles which define the spine as one synchronizing unit, controlled by the brain and spinal cord. If tension from physical, biochemical, and/or emotional inputs that have been placed on the spinal cord can be released, then the spine can be adjusted in relationship to this spinal cord tension. In turn, the entire spine – to include the bones and muscles – can be relaxed and begin to work as one harmonious unit. This method of adjusting allows the body as a structure to be at ease.
Ultimately, BAC strives to remove barriers that force you to compromise your health and quality of life both by means of chiropractic adjustments and proven soft tissue methods of the Active Release Technique®.
