Dr. Susan M. Clark received her Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree in December 2003 from Life College of Chiropractic in West Hayward, California. This degree represents four (of the ten) academic years of professional study.
A 1990 Graduate of The Collegiate Schools in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Susan also graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in History. She also holds a Masters of Science in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology from the United States Sports Academy. She is also a certified SPIN instructor.
Her approach with caring for her patients is one where she truly listens and helps to find the cause of the problem, not just cover up symptoms. Dr. Susan adjusts her patients using skills from various techniques and applies the Active Release Technique soft tissue protocol to expedite patient recovery.
Dr. Susan believes that the more you know about your body, the better you can care for yourself and your family. She believes that there is a time and place for medicine, but that there are many effective treatment methods that can be used before a patient’s health gets to that point.
